
John Palmer
as Michael Prentice
John has performed in a fair few productions at Dolphin since Party Piece in 2001, most recently in An Inspector Calls in 2018 and Lady Susan and Tomb with a View in 2017. Other favourite haunts are Ellerslie Theatre (The Graduate 2016, I Hate Hamlet 2014, The Dining Room 2013 & Nude with Violin 2012) and many plays at North Shore’s Company Theatre from the 1990’s up to Tom Dick and Harry in 2010.

John Edwards
as Hugo Tilling-Hunt
Last seen at the Dolphin in At The Sign Of The Crippled Harlequin, John is pleased to return to the stage with The Revival. He has trained in Australia with Actors Centre Australia and NIDA Open in Sydney, cultivating a prolific body of work there and in Auckland. Such shows include Nell Gwynn, Cosi, and Ladies Night. John has also just finished his first piece of directing with Spotlight at this year's One Act Play Festival.

Donna Verey
as Alison Woodley
Donna performed with various theatre groups in Christchurch before making her way up the country to arrive in Auckland in 2000. She was last seen at Dolphin in An Inspector Calls in 2018, playing Sybil Birling. Other Dolphin appearances include Lady Susan, Fox On The Fairway, The Opposite Sex and An Ideal Husband. She has also performed with Ellerslie, Company, Harlequin and Shoreside theatres.

Linda Pudney
as Diana South
Linda is no stranger to Dolphin, last seen in Last Legs in 2020 and previous appearances in Arsenic&Old Lace, Closure & Wife After Death. She has also appeared in Steel Magnolias for Company Theatre in 2019. Linda has been involved both acting & directing for Stables, Playhouse, Titirangi & Waitemata theatres over a number of years. She says it is always a pleasure to be treading the boards at Dolphin.

Hamish Stevens
as Eddie Wilde
Hamish is delighted to return to the Dolphin stage as part of the spirited cast of The Revival. This is Hamish’s fourth production at Dolphin, having appeared in Agatha Christie’s Go Back for Murder in 2019, Nell Gwynn in 2018 and That’s Love in 2016. However, none of these plays included a ghost. Hamish has also been on stage with a variety of other Auckland theatres over recent years as well as performing in classical and modern choirs.

Hannah Rice
as Sophie Essenheimer
Hannah Rice has spent the last five years studying and performing in Chicago and Auckland. While studying in the States, Hannah had the opportunity to train at the New York Academy of Dramatic Arts as well as at the University of California, Los Angeles. Hannah is thrilled to be back performing at Dolphin Theatre after recently being part of the One Act Play Festival in both The Norse Mythology and Persuasion.

Paul Norell
as Giles Heath
Paul is no stranger to Dolphin, first appearing in 1997 in Dracula and most recently in An Inspector Calls and Goodnight Mr Tom. He returns to this stage having just completed a season of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at The Rose Theatre, Belmont.

Lisa Inman
as Viv Munro
Lisa was previously seen in a donkey mask as Ass in Flint Street Nativity. She now returns as Viv the Stage Manager. Having previously been a stage manager at Dolphin for many years she will try and recall some of those skills to bring her character to life.

Jan Saussey
Well known at the Dolphin for 50 years as an actor, tutor, director and president, Jan has kept her passion for theatre alive since childhood through stage, film, TV and her own drama school. She has shared her vast experience and knowledge with adults and young aspiring actors, directed for other Auckland theatres such as Howick and Youth Theatreworks, and received many awards for Best Production plus personal awards.
It was exactly 50 years ago this month that Jan first stepped on our stage in The Bride and the Bachelor. Jan is a proud Life member of Dolphin.
