Rehearsal for Murder is a suspenseful murder mystery play. Alex Dennison, a successful playwright, is devastated when his fiancée Monica Welles is found dead in her apartment. He decides to stage a play based on the events leading up to her death in order to uncover the truth.

As the play progresses, Alex discovers that Monica was murdered and that someone close to him is the killer. With the help of his cast and crew, Alex must find the killer before it's too late. The play is filled with twists and turns as Alex and his cast try to uncover the truth. As the play reaches its climax, Alex discovers that the murderer is someone he never expected. With the help of his cast and crew, Alex must find a way to bring the killer to justice and avenge Monica's death.

The suspenseful mystery of Rehearsal for Murder will keep you guessing until the very end. Will Alex be able to find the killer in time? Or will the murderer get away with the crime? Join Alex and his cast on this thrilling journey to uncover the truth and bring justice to Monica.

Julia Leathwick

An accomplished Actor and Director, Julia brings a wealth of experience to the Dolphin stage helming Rehearsal for Murder.  Julia has won numerous awards and broken box office records for her productions and received acclaim for her ability to understand the requirements for contemporary theatre audiences.  Dolphin is delighted to once again have Julia helming one of their productions. Her involvement in the theatre started at the age of 11 and she has personally been involved in well over 30 plays as both an onstage performer but also working back of house in technical roles such as prompt, props, sound design and “in the box”.  Having seen her beloved Mother direct this same play some 21 years ago, Julia is thrilled to work with her brilliant team to bring a true WHODUNNIT to the Dolphin Stage.
