The theatre seats 119 in comfortable padded seats and is air conditioned. The auditorium is raked and there is a well lit stage with good sight lines. There is disabled access and space for one wheelchair. The auditorium is also fitted with a hearing loop. The foyer has recently been redecorated and kitchen facilities are available for morning and afternoon teas. Light lunches can be provided. Please enquire re catering costs. The Dolphin Theatre is a licensed premises and the bar can be open on request—costs are very reasonable. A qualified bar manager will be on duty and EFTPOS is available.
 

The theatre is situated in Spring Street, Onehunga, and has an adjacent free public car park. It is a short walk to the Onehunga Train Station along Princes Street.

Rehearsal Hall The hall is situated at the rear of the theatre and is suitable for small meetings, rehearsals, dancing or singing practice. It has a wooden floor and an eclectic mix of furniture. There are tea-making facilities and toilets and overhead heaters make it warm in winter. The hall is a casual space and may be hired for daytime use and limited evening use.
