Synopsis
Curtain Up tells the story of a group of women who inherit equal shares in an old ruined theatre and have to get involved in all kinds of chaos and madness to try to save it from destruction. The play is a light-hearted, fun entertainment which has had audiences laughing in Britain for over a decade. Created for a cast of 5 women, the show has had over 100 amateur productions in the UK and has also been presented in Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands and Ireland.
A mad play, full of dynamism, momentum, and funny dialogue and great surprises... Proves that purely female plays can achieve great success and lots of laughter... Well worth seeing -you can be assured of great entertainment
The show has great parts for five comedic actresses. Accents - British (both standard and regional UK English will be considered). Actors will be auditioned by appointment.
